1 Chronicles 4:10
9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother named him Jabez saying, “Because I bore him with pain.” 10 Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!” And God granted him what he requested.
I pray the prayer of Jabez for my family and I. God help us, sustain us, guide us, and deliver us. Thank you, in the name of Jesus Amen

Hi. I read many of your prayers. They are beautiful. Thank you. But I have a request.
Many have gone to the lions for their faith in Christ. They must have prayed as they were ushered into the arena where they were to be devoured for public spectacle.
If you could conceive of righteous prayers that could be like those of Saints who courageously would not have forsaken the Lord in the face of such horror, I know that I and others who cope with thorns — like that of Paul’s thorn in the side — would be most blessed and inspirited with strength for our realities. The essence of hope is that, while it to help us overcome, it is not to be perceived as a means to outcomes that would be physically or materially ideal. Hope is, not the assurance of such closure but instead, the way to victory in one’s heart where eternal life is the ultimate prize.
People too often lift up prayers that place undue expectations on God and, in so doing, they risk disappointment when He does not deliver. God surely delivers on His promises. I would just be clear on how this applies to circumstances that are applicable to my request.
Author, I invite you visit my blog where I share a perspective of hope from my personal experience. Perhaps you could think of prayers to offer for situations such a mine. I know many who would be touched by your ability to articulate prayers that would be real and meaningful to them.
Blessings, Jeff

Will read more, and also be overjoyed to contribute to God’s plan, in sharing his word, and praying.

Thank you for the spirit-filled blessing of your kind words that happened to be timely on a tough day. You lifted me up before I go into work past 48 hours without sleep to deal with a huge emergency and face undue criticism. I thank God for His hope that holds me together. But your words were all the more a blessing to me at the right moment.
I look forward to following you more here. Thank you for following me and, in doing so, encouraging my heart’s greatest desire. May God bless you, your ministry, and all who are with you.

Words can be blessings indeed! That’s what we are here for, to speak life over our lives and others. When we are down, stressed, we need to reach out and listen to each other. God definitely puts people into our lives for a reason. We can empower each other through the love of Jesus Christ. Matthew 25:21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ I hope your day went well, and pray for more good days ahead for you, even for great miracles in your life. Thank you so much again Jeff!
