Happy International Nurses Day 2020

Today we celebrate nurses around the world, and the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale.

“Florence Nightingale (1820-1910), known as “The Lady With the Lamp,” was a British nurse, social reformer and statistician best known as the founder of modern nursing. Her experiences as a nurse during the Crimean War were foundational in her views about sanitation. She established St. Thomas’ Hospital and the Nightingale Training School for Nurses in 1860. Her efforts to reform healthcare greatly influenced the quality of care in the 19 and 20 centuries.” Credits to History.com

Romans 12:13 “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”

God bless all the nurses around the world today working through this pandemic. 🙏🏼

3 John 1:2 “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”
